LANCE® TR-FRET Assays

Ideal for HTS and ultra HTS, LANCE biochemical TR-FRET assays are sensitive, homogeneous and easy to use.This antibody-dependant assay provides specificity for proteins within complex signal transduction pathways, can be miniaturized and is readily automatable.

Two formats available:

LANCE Ultra - LANCE Ultra assays utilize a small, red-shifted ULight acceptor dye in combination with a Europium (Eu) chelate donor dye. Our small, bright ULight dye provides a strong signal with minimal steric hindrance. Perfect for kinase and GPCR applications.

LANCE - Developed as a generic three component system, this assay uses a Eu-based chelate as the long lifetime donor dye and allophycocyanin-streptavidin (SA-APC) as the acceptor dye. The third component consists of a biotinylated peptide which is recognized by the Eu-labeled antibody and can bind to SA-APC to form the final TR-FRET complex.
